1968 Acted the part of ‘y llanc’ in ‘Ty ar y Tywod’ by Gwenlyn Parry for BBC Wales television. Producer/director: George P. Owen.

1969-71 Assistant floor manager on staff of BBC Wales. I worked in the news and current affairs department, light entertainment and drama departments.

1972-73 Presented the quiz ‘Stesion Cantamil’ for HTV. Producer: Peter Elias Jones. Director: Wil Aaron.

1972-79 Acted the part of Syr Wynff in ‘Teliffant’ for BBC Wales - 20 programmes a year. Producers: Meredydd Evans, Jack Williams, Ruth Price, David Richards, Bryn Richards and Rhydderch Jones.

1975-76 I was the voice of Taran in the children’s puppet series ‘Fyny Fana’ for HTV. Producer: Peter Elias Jones.

1976-77 Presented the quiz ‘Olwynion’ for BBC Wales. Producer/director: Iwan Griffiths.

Presented the O.B. coverage from the Urdd National Eisteddfod at Barry for BBC Wales. Editor: Dyfed Glyn Jones.

Syr Wynff

1979 (left) Acted in three short films for the Welsh Film Board. ‘Garej Syr Wynff’, ‘Crochendy Syr Wynff’ and ‘Teliffant’. Producer: Gwilym Owen. Director: Emlyn Williams.

Also played the inspector in ‘Gwaed ar y Sêr’ by Wil Sam. Director: Wil Aaron.

1979-84 Director of Goleuo M.W.G. Lighting – a lighting facilities company for film and television.

Chairman and director of Burum the independent television production company.

1980-81 (right) Acted the part of Mr Prys in two series of ‘Siop Siafins’ by Dyfed Thomas for BBC Wales. Producer: Brynmor Williams. Directors: Gwennan Sage and Denis Pritchard Jones.

Acted in six programmes of the television series ‘Ffenestri’ for BBC Schools. Producer/director: Dilwyn Jones.

1980-89 Acted the part of Syr Wynff in ‘Anturiaethau Syr Wynff a Plwmsan’ for S4C through Burum and Ffilmiau Llifon. Producers: Dafydd Meirion, Wynford Ellis Owen and Gareth Lloyd Williams. Directors: Graham Edgar and Gareth Lloyd Williams. (These programmes are regularly repeated on S4C. Several are on DVD.)

Siop Siafins

1981 Acted in a documentary about Universal Studios, USA for S4C through Kine Merlin. Producer/director: Ian Bodenham.

1982-83 Produced and directed the chat show ‘Ond o ddifri Madam Sera!’ for S4C through Burum.

1982 Directed the 8 part drama series ‘Bysus Bach y Wlad’ by Hari Parry and Gareth Maelor for S4C through Burum. Producer: Dafydd Meirion.

1985 Acted the part of Dr Jolly in ‘Byw’n Rhydd’ by Emyr Humphreys for S4C through Ffilmiau Bryngwyn. Producer/director: Siôn Humphreys.

Dinas

1985-91 (left) Played the part of Robin Gregory in the soap ‘Dinas’ for S4C through HTV. Producer: Graham Jones. Directors: Meredydd Owen, George P. Owen, Penny Shales, Terry Dyddgen Jones, Ieuan Davies and Bryn Richards.

1986 Acted the part of Syr Wynff in the Christmas Special ‘Grym Ewyllys’ for S4C through Ffilmiau Llifon. Producer/director: Gareth Lloyd Williams. (Released on DVD.)

1986 Dubbed the cartoon ‘Siôn Blewyn Coch’ by Rosanne Reeves for S4C through Atsain/Siriol. Producer: Robin Lyons.


1986 Acted in the series ‘Siarabang’ for S4C through Ffilmiau’r Nant. Producer: Robin Evans. Directors: Robin Evans and Wil Aaron.

1987 Acted in ‘Sôn am Siarabang’ (including items from the Summer series) for S4C through Ffilmiau’r Nant. Producer/director: Robin Evans.

1987 Took part in sketches for ‘Cyfle Byw’ for S4C through HTV. Producer/director: Paul Jones.

1991 Acted in situations for ‘Now you’re Talking’ for S4C through Fflic. Producer: Gwenda Griffiths. Director: Gareth J. Wood.

1993 Played the part of Uncle Frank in ‘Fallen Sons’ by Ed Thomas for BBC Playhouse Wales. Director: Ceri Sherlock.

1993 Acted the parts of Avery and Wragg in ‘Pirates’ and ‘Môr Ladron’ for S4C and Discovery through Psychology News. Producer: David Cohen and Dafydd Williams.

1993 Acted the part of Simon Lyons in ‘Glan Hafren’ for S4C through HTV. Producer: Graham Jones. Directors: Terry Dyddgen Jones, Gwynne Williams and Penny Shales.

1997 Acted the part of Sir Huw Wheldon in ‘Canllath o Gopa’r Mynydd’ a drama documentary on Sir Charles Evans for Cambrensis. Producer: Arwel Ellis Owen. Director: Paul Turner.

1997 Played the part of Lyndon Williams in ‘Y Glas’ by Siôn Eirian for S4C through Boda. Producer: D. Gethin Scourfield. Director: Hugh Thomas.

1998 Played the part of Bryn Hill in Mei Jones’ ‘Cerddwn Ymlaen’. Producer: Norman Williams. Director: Eurwyn Williams.

1998 Played the part of the Rev. Donald Parry in ‘Porc Pei’ a film for Christmas day by Wynford Ellis Owen. Producer: Shân Davies. Director: Paul Turner. A Cambrensis production for S4C. (It is intended to release the six series of this production on DVD.) www.s4c.co.uk

Porc Peis

Voiced the part of the Devil in the Cartwn Cymru/Christmas Films production of ‘Gðr y Gwyrthiau’. A BBC/S4C production.

2000 Played the part of Dr. Dylan Griffiths in the 16 part series ‘Let’s Talk Welsh’. Producer: Rowenna Thomas. Director: Robin Rollinson.

2002 (left) Have recently completed filming the 4th. series of PorcPeis Bach. And a 13 part drama series ‘Jacob’s Ladder for HTV/Story Works Ltd.., based on tales from the Old Testament.

 


2003/04/05 (right) Filming the 5 and the 6th and final series of the highly successful series PORC PEIS BACH. Transmission will be, 6th June 2005 onwards. Director: Hugh Thomas.

2005 Performed monologue for the ‘Margaret Williams Show’ about what life was like in the 70’s. Producers: Geraint Stanley Jones and Glenda Jones.

2006 Acted the role of Gordon in the film CWCW by Delyth Jones for S4C and Fondue Films. Director: Delyth Jones.

Porc Peis

2007 Supplied the commentary voice over for JENNIE, a drama-documentary for S4C by Cambrensis Communications Ltd on the life of the legendary Jennie Eirian Davies. Producer: Arwel Ellis Owen. Director: Rhys Powys.
2007 Recorded the voice over for the CADW advert, and supplied commentaries for the varied castles, historic buildings, etc under its care.
